We are seeking to hire a team of laundry operators in support of our laundry operations located in Tuas.
Job Description
- To operate the industrial machines that wash, press and pack assorted linen/laundry items before these are delivered to the different hotel properties.
- Checking and sorting all soiled linens/laundry items into the industrial washing machine.
- Feeding clean linens/laundry items into the industrial ironing and folding machines.
- Packing and sorting clean linens/laundry items for delivery to the different hotel properties.
- Maintain cleanliness of the working area.
- Report any faulty/abnormalities found in any laundry machine(s) to the Laundry Operations Manager.
- Support the company’s sustainability initiatives and contribute to its efforts in building a more sustainable and inclusive organisation.
- Leverage AI-powered productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot & ChatGPT) to enhance operational efficiency, reporting, and communication
- Any other duties within the reasonable scope as required.
Job Requirements
- Secondary / Nitec / Higher Nitec.
- A team player with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Experience serving in laundry operations would be an added advantage.
- Adherence with workplace safety.
- Experience with AI-powered workplace productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or other approved AI applications) will be an added advantage.
- Working Location – Tuas.
