  • Our CSR Goal Statement is “Empowering Every Young Person for a Brighter Future”. We are committed to empowering the next generation through inclusive access to education, growth, and contribution. No one is left behind, especially the underprivileged, so every young person can thrive with confidence and purpose.
  • The Worldwide Hotels–Choo Chong Ngen Foundation has donated over $14 million to local universities, polytechnics, and institutes of technical education (National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore Institute of Technology, Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Institute of Technical Education and School of the Arts Singapore) to establish bursaries for underprivileged students, enabling them to pursue higher education without financial burden. • We support the Community Chest (COMCHEST) SHARE Programme beneficiaries by matching employee donations dollar for dollar. This enhances the impact of monthly contributions and uplifting vulnerable communities in Singapore, and to support COMCHEST’s five causes – Adults with Disabilities, Children with Special Needs and Youth-At-Risk, Families in Need of Assistance, Persons with Mental Health and Seniors in Need of Support.
  • Our meaningful outreach and volunteer efforts to champion community well-being have been recognised with the Company of Good – 3 Hearts Award. This award acknowledges the contributions of organisations in Singapore for their commitment at the national level to corporate purpose and impact in the areas of People, Society, Governance, Environment, and Economic dimensions.
  • We organise a beach clean-up at East Coast Park at least twice a year, with staff volunteers coming together to promote environmental responsibility and preserve Singapore’s natural spaces.
  • In August 2024, 13 staff members took 61 children and 17 caregivers on an enjoyable, inclusive outing to KidZania for children from SPD Jurong. This event enhances social inclusion and also helps children’s learning and emotional well-being.
  • We support artists with disabilities and promote inclusion through art and design by commissioning an original artwork from ART:DIS, a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to creating learning and livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities in the arts, for our 30th Anniversary staff tumbler.
  • A group-wide initiative involving 17 of our hotels, the corporate headquarters, and 13 staff volunteers donated over 800 kg of food and $10,000 to The Food Bank Singapore to support efforts in reducing food insecurity.
